After
I’ve done a review about “Introduction” before,
now I will continue my review to another components in the journal. In this
moment, I will review about “Related Literature” and “Research Methodology”. Okay,

RELATED
LITERATURE
The
researcher talk about the teory of reading. She took Nunan teory about what the
reading is. Nunan stated that the reading is process of decoding written, from
smaller unit to larger ones(Nunan,2004). The researcher said that DRTA
technique is a way of teaching to read the text closely and purposefully. The text
for students’ in installments, so students do some activities, such as make prediction,
read conclution and consider the structures. For the last, the researcher took
Harmer teory about the behind of teaching reading. Harmer said that there are
six principles about the behind of theaching reading, those are;
🖊️ Reading
not a passive skill
🖊️ Prediction
is a major factor of reading
🖊️ Match
the task to the topic
🖊️ Students
need to be engaged with what they read
🖊️Should
be encouraged to respond the content of text
🖊️Good teachers exploit reading texts to the full.
Thus, the reasercher want
to see Nunan and Harmer teory to complete her reasearch in reading skill. With DRTA
technique she can see if students’ can improve their reading skill or not.
